Locomotives

Shunting and shunting-export locomotives (diesel locomotives) are used not only at railway stations and sidings, but also at various industrial enterprises for the formation and disbandment of trains, the supply of wagons and the execution various works on railway tracks.
Diesel locomotives use different types of gears: hydro, electric, hybrid.

Diesel locomotives

Heavy shunting diesel locomotives (locomotives) are used both at railway stations and in other areas (seaports, mining, heavy industry, and so on). The main purpose is the formation and disbanding of rolling stock from cars of various types and purposes, transportation, and other auxiliary work.
Peculiarities
The design of a standard diesel locomotive includes such compartments as:
• refrigeration;
• motor;
• high voltage;
• rechargeable.
Management and control over operating parameters is carried out directly from the driver’s cab.
It houses the console and main control devices, sensors and measuring instruments, drive control, a tool box and much more. The locomotive is controlled by a travel switch. The key element of any diesel locomotive is the power plant, which comes in several basic varieties and determines the type of locomotive.
All components of the locomotive are mounted on the main frame, which is mounted on two three-axle bogies. The front and rear bogies have the same design, but the rear bogie differs from the front bogie in the presence of a speedometer drive on the right housing of the central axle shaft. All bogie axles are leading.
