The straightening-tamping-straightening machine of medium type is a universal cyclic track machine that performs simultaneous or independent straightening, tamping and straightening of the railway track in longitudinal and transverse profiles and in plan, as well as compacting the ballast under the sleepers and beams of turnouts and crosses.
The machine performs work in semi-automatic and manual modes on straight and curved sections of the track with rails up to R65 inclusive, with wooden or reinforced concrete sleepers, as well as on turnouts with wooden beams and marks of crosses from 1/9 to 1/22.
