Railroad diesel-electric and hydraulic cranes
Railway cranes of various capacities are used in emergency and restoration work, as well as in the construction and maintenance of the railway track. Railway cranes are used not only on railways, but also in industrial plants during installation and loading and unloading operations.
Railway diesel-electric cranes with a lifting capacity of 16.25.32 tons
Cranes of this series are equipped with a multi-motor electric drive on a three-phase current with a voltage of 400 V, a frequency of 50 Hz. The electric drive is powered by a 100 kW diesel-electric unit. It is possible to operate cranes powered by an external current source using a flexible cable.
Hydraulic railway crane with a lifting capacity of 80 tons
The railway hydraulic crane is designed to perform emergency recovery, loading and unloading, construction and installation works on the tracks of railways with a gauge of 1520 mm.
The main components of the crane are the running and slewing frames, interconnected by a turntable with a 360° rotation angle, mounted on two three-axle bogies equipped with a hydraulic drive. A three-section telescopic boom with a cargo winch is installed on the swing frame, providing boom reach in the range from 4.2 m to 17.7 m, as well as a swing mechanism, a power plant, and a driver’s cab. The crane has the ability to telescoping the boom with a load equal to 75% of the rated lifting capacity.
Hydraulic railway crane with a lifting capacity of 150 tons
The hydraulic railway crane is designed to perform restoration, construction and installation, repair and loading and unloading operations on the tracks of 1520 mm gauge railways.
The crane is equipped with a retractable counterweight, which has significantly improved its technical characteristics.
All crane equipment is covered with hoods that protect it from atmospheric precipitation. To start the power plant at low temperatures, a preheater is installed on the crane.
Railway Cranes: Diesel-Electric and Hydraulic
Railway cranes are specialized equipment used for construction, repair, and loading/unloading tasks on railway tracks. The most common types are diesel-electric and hydraulic cranes, each with its own features and advantages.
Diesel-electric cranes are equipped with a diesel engine that generates electrical energy to power the drives. They are characterized by high power, autonomy, and durability. These cranes can operate in any conditions, making them indispensable for heavy tasks such as rail installation, bridge construction, or overhead line repairs.
Hydraulic cranes, on the other hand, use a hydraulic system to transfer force. They are more compact and maneuverable, offering high precision and smooth operation. They are often used for tasks like replacing switch mechanisms, installing equipment, and other operations requiring accuracy.
The choice of crane type depends on the specific job requirements. Diesel-electric models are suitable for complex and heavy-duty tasks, while hydraulic ones are ideal for precise and agile operations.
